Jean-Noël Dumont

Jean-Noël Dumont, a general engineer by training, has devoted his entire professional career to research and engineering issues relating to energy and the environment. From 2007 to 2022, he was in charge of socio-technical issues relating to radioactive waste management, in particular the reversibility of deep waste disposal and the transmission of memory relating to disposal sites. Retired since January 2023, he continues to take an interest in environmental issues, particularly the decarbonization of our energy sources and plastic waste. He has been Chairman of GAFE France since 2017.
