Indira James Henry

Mrs. Indira James-Henry is an Antiguan who currently holds the position of the Environmental Implementation Coordinator at the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment. Her Background as an Environmental Engineer has resulted in her leading the Plastic development policies in Antigua and Barbuda. She also hastraining in (ISO) 14001: 2015 and Project Management from the University of the West Indies.
Over the last six years she has played a vital role in Antigua and Barbuda achieving the Shopping Plastic Bag Ban, Polyethylene “Styrofoam” Ban for food service products, In addition to the Litter Control and Prevention Act. Outside her duties she is an environmentalist who enjoys meeting new people, taking part in charity events and traveling.
